比推消息，11 名美国参议员致信财政部长 Scott Bessent 和司法部长 Pamela Bondi，要求对币安是否遵守美国制裁及反洗钱要求展开全面审查，并评估其对 2023 年和解协议的执行情况。
信中援引相关报道称，约 17 亿美元数字资产通过币安流向与伊朗恐怖主义相关实体，包括与 Houthis 和伊斯兰革命卫队有关联的组织，调查人员还发现超过 1500 个账户被伊朗用户访问，以及与规避俄罗斯制裁相关的潜在活动。信中还指出，部分发现可疑交易的币安合规人员此后遭解雇，执法机构表示币安在提供客户信息方面的配合度有所下降。参议员 Chris Van Hollen、Ruben Gallego 及另外九名参议员联署了该信函，并对币安在前苏联地区推出的支付卡及与稳定币相关的合作项目表示担忧，认为这些产品可能被用于规避制裁。参议员们要求相关机构在 3 月 13 日前报告审查进展。此外，参议员 Richard Blumenthal 也于本周二启动了针对币安的国会调查，向币安 CEO Richard Teng 索取相关文件和内部记录。币安否认相关指控，称其已识别并向当局报告可疑活动，且不允许伊朗用户使用其平台。
