那是在2004年雅典奥运会上，当时的兰赫和自己的队友卡洛斯-埃斯皮诺萨合作，在男子托纳多级多体船的比赛当中，为阿根廷赢下了一块铜牌。在2008年的北京奥运会上，他俩再次合作，又一次拿到了该项赛事的第三名。: d, `5 V/ S, B& N; H) E N4 F9 x

事实上，兰赫自幼就出生在一个帆船世家。他的父亲就是一名优秀的帆船运动员，参加过1952年的赫尔辛基奥运会，并且还拿到了第四名的成绩。

2015年，在训练中一直倍感疲劳的兰赫突然被查出肺部癌细胞病变，幸亏发现及时，他在西班牙巴塞罗那市的一家医院接受了左肺切除手术。

3 u& ?! ~& a% h7 x6 a 在六个月的治疗过程当中，兰赫一直保持着一个乐观的心态。术后仅用5天，他就开始骑自行车训练，不到一个月的时间，他便奇迹般的重返了训练场。

对于病痛的折磨，他始终抱着一颗虔诚感恩的心，他表示：“幸亏医生及时发现了癌细胞，如果不是我经常路途劳动让身体感到如此疲惫的话，还真不一定能这么早发现癌细胞，我觉得自己真的非常幸运。”
