SEC 指控 NanoBit 和 CoinW6 利用社交媒体进行“关系投资诈骗”

比推消息，美SEC指控两个虚假的加密平台 NanoBit 和 CoinW6 欺骗投资者并窃取他们的资金。
该机构周二对五个实体和三名个人提起两项投诉，指控他们涉嫌参与关系投资诈骗，投资者在社交媒体上受到“引诱”，包括通过 WhatsApp、LinkedIn 和 Instagram等。SEC称这是其首次指控此类诈骗行为
2023 年 10 月至 2024 年 6 月，有人通过 WhatsApp 群组假装是“金融行业专业人士”，让客户通过一个名为 NanoBit 的虚假加密平台进行投资。
SEC表示：“为了说服投资者该平台是安全的，NanoBit 涉嫌谎称其关联公司 NanobitUS Securities 是一家在美SEC注册的经纪商。这些所谓的金融专业人士随后大肆宣传虚假的ICO，以此作为投资者可获得丰厚回报的一种方式。”
投资者不但没有赚到钱，其资金反而流向了“计划参与者”的手中，他们随后通过银行账户将 200 多万美元汇到香港。
至于 CoinW6，美SEC表示，参与该计划的人假装是富有的年轻专业人士，并通过 LinkedIn 和 Instagram 与受害投资者联系，同时还通过 WhatsApp 追求“浪漫关系”。涉嫌欺诈者表示，投资者每天可以从 CoinW6 的质押、挖矿和其他产品中获得高达 3% 的回报。
SEC 表示：“实际上，投资者的资金被挪用，他们表面上的投资、利润和账户余额都是虚构的。当投资者试图提取他们所谓的利润时，这些骗子会要求额外支付税款或费用，告诉投资者加密资产作为执法调查的一部分被冻结，或者试图通过 WhatsApp 上的通信来勒索他们。”
