考入大学后，科恩还幸运地入选新西兰国家队。不过后来在朋友的介绍下，科恩迷上一个Dubo网站。
4 n; i) J+ d( `! f) T) k! l( X在最初的10天中，科恩连续赢得4.8万美元，欣喜若狂的他进而转战当地一家娱乐城。但没过几天，科恩就被一名埋伏在娱乐城多日的男子勒索，逼他在3周内交出1万美元，否则就要伤害科恩和他的家人。老天似乎开始和科恩作对，之后的几天里，科恩霉运连连，不仅将到手的4.8万美元全部输光，还透支了信用卡。

进入银行之后，科恩直接冲到一名女出纳面前，拿着一个烧烤时用的打火枪(形状酷似手枪)吼道：“我有枪！快拿出你的钱！”在这里，科恩抢到了2200美元，之后他又转移到另一个柜台，抢到了近1900美元。这时，科恩可能发现自己装钞票的袋子太小了，所以决定逃跑。但仅仅30分钟后，科恩就被当地JC逮捕。更尴尬的是，在逃跑的过程中，科恩由于没有把包上的拉链拉好，还弄丢了40美元。- o& a" l3 W. Q8 z! O7 r' h; J5 V+ }

法官法外施恩，做出轻判
! I" @( F4 h2 v$ ^6 O6 b在了解了科恩的情况后，法官内维做出雷人的裁决：“科恩策划的这起抢劫极度业余，注定就是要失败的。在我看来，一个有这么好背景的青年堕落至此，一定是在精神不正常的情况下做出的。不过，事情既然已经发生了，那我也只能宽容地接受。” L3 |. i. q: X' P0 ~
最终，这位法官法外施恩，做出轻判：“科恩除了需要补足在逃跑时丢掉的40美元外，必须在5年之内禁止Dubo，并且在家里服刑11个月，以及为他所在的社区免费工作250个小时。” |
