美国金沙集团在澳门的威尼斯人娱乐城综合度假村，日前举行四季酒店开幕典礼，未来金沙集团还将砸重金扩大营运规模。2 n% @4 R" I; } v. ^4 {! |( K
美国拉斯维加斯金沙集团总裁怀德（William Weidner）透露，马英九总统上任后，他曾赴台与新ZF讨论设置娱乐城及综合度假村事宜，「稳定的两岸情势对投资很重要」，金沙将视状况决定投资时机；至于娱乐城的设置地点，如果台湾ZF考虑在台北市及高雄市开放设置娱乐城，「金沙有很高的意愿进行投资」。
' f9 ?: r9 P$ F. o5 r q& O怀德接受本报记者专访时透露，台湾政党轮替后，新ZF释放出正面讯息，两岸气氛也转趋良好，这些现象金沙集团都看到了，因此他日前特别到台湾，与相关单位讨论设置娱乐城综合度假村事宜。; P& T) G7 Z7 T- z
怀德表示，金沙集团过去曾考虑在澎湖设置娱乐城，在陈水扁担任总统时，金沙集团主席安德森也曾赴台湾与陈水扁会晤，但后来扁ZF推翻这项计画，如今金沙集团已在澳门兴建威尼斯人度假村，未来不会考虑在澎湖设娱乐城，不过对于台北或高雄，他们则是很有兴趣。
O1 y( R/ P0 v; d; O* T- U' A怀德说，理想的娱乐城设置地点，应该是人口多、交通方便的地方，这些地方比较繁荣，容易聚集人潮，在这样的地方兴建娱乐城才会有商机；他强调，现在金沙更有兴趣的投资地点是台北或高雄。
, O1 l+ C4 a7 O* l, O" V A3 a8 T根据美林证券评估，十年内亚洲娱乐城收益将从目前的140亿美元，增加两倍多。金沙集团主席安德森对于亚洲市场也一直有很高的期待，如今已经在澳、星投入钜资兴建娱乐城度假村的他，仍风尘僕僕往来于亚洲各国间寻觅下一个据点，泰国、印度、日本、台湾，都是可能目标。
) p4 _" t! { R8 D( M: T n! V金沙集团2000年时曾属意在澎湖设置娱乐城综合度假村，当时也积极规划「大澎湖国际渡假村计画」，安德森更亲自来台与当时的总统陈水扁会面，陈水扁当面赞成这项计画，不料消息曝光后，陈水扁否认两人曾见面，让安德森决定放弃「大澎湖国际渡假村计画」，转向澳门兴建「亚洲的拉斯维加斯」。: O* t+ ?! h. z* _' l
经建会官员表示，目前还是以离岛作为开放娱乐城的规划地点，不过所有的研究与规划报告要到年底才会完成；至于有没有可能在本岛开放设置娱乐城，官员说，虽然很多县市都在争取，但经建会现阶段的研究是针对离岛，未来会否考虑开放台北或高雄设立场，仍不得而知。 |
