据澳门日报报道，四川发生8级地震，澳门大学博彩研究所所长冯家超认为，未来半年内地将会集中精力于重建工作，可能令各方资金抽紧，投资澳门速度或有所放缓。但澳门博彩收入依然稳居升轨，只是增幅可能放缓至20%，相信并不影响全年赌收破千亿大关。

此外，年初内地亦爆发雪灾等因素，特区ZF在近期“叫停”博彩之前相信已作了充分的考虑。至于这次四川地震发生后，相信未来大半年，内地将会投入大量资源做重建工作，各方资金抽紧，对投资澳门速度可能有所放缓，需要密切留意。

不过，由于澳门博彩收入仍处于一个高速上升的轨迹，尽管地震或影响对澳门的投资速度，但本地赌收不会因此而出现下降，只是增速可能放缓，预计全年增幅会放缓至20%，但赌收破千亿相信不会有问题。在今年初时，社会上曾有声音估计全年赌收增长达60%。; V9 B" r: p* G, |& C
; P! v$ }3 O$ a- e8 Z( v, i 冯家超相信，即使投资放缓反而为澳门造就一个博彩整固的机会。而从另一个角度看，由于过去一年港澳，尤其香港，受政策鼓励有不少厂商从珠三角向中西部迁移，地震可能打乱了他们的投资计划，但从中凸显澳门本地投资环境的“稳定性”。
