StepN起初以免费发放1万双NFT运动鞋开始，玩家可在其APP内购买运动鞋、宝石和徽章等NFT。玩家装备游戏中的NFT运动鞋后，通过户外运动来赚取Token。该游戏已经获得红杉、Folius Ventures、Solana Ventures等资本投资加持，并在用户数量和流水上超过Axie，位居链游榜头把交椅。

根本上讲，Move to Earn与链游中常见的Play to Earn模式并无实质区别，Move只是众多Play的玩法之一。具体来说，游戏中玩家需要先购买NFT鞋子，后通过实际跑步运动来获取鞋子的GST产出。同时，玩家可以消耗GST升级鞋子，鞋子等级越高，玩家每天能运动赚GST的时间越多，每天产出GST自然也更多。 @% K; s: J) B$ _

游戏中，玩家可以用两双鞋MINT（合成）一双新鞋，每双鞋子可以MINT7次，参与合成的鞋子等级越高，获得高等级新鞋的概率越大，StepN允许玩家可以在游戏内的公开市场出售NFT跑鞋，目前市面上的鞋子，基本由用户MINT而来，如果MINT出稀有品种，用户往往可以实现一次性回本。
