澳门理工学院社会经济研究所教授曾忠禄表示，前4个月娱乐城毛收入下跌，但仍处健康发展水平。2月博彩收入近80亿已见底，相信下半年每月娱乐城毛收入徘徊在90亿。
: J% {: ]+ U, j$ A 有消息指，澳门4月娱乐城毛收入逾83亿，按年下跌8.5%。期内，澳BO市占率居首，达31%；金沙居次位，市占26%；永利第三，市占13.5%。银娱及新濠市占率分别为12%及9%；美高梅金殿占8%。+ e# C: {8 ?) v: P) G3 T, {
高盛发表报告称，澳门博彩类股首选新濠国际和新濠博亚，有望刺激股价走高的因素包括：新濠天地6月开业、佣金将设上限，以及有关放松旅游限制的消息。另外，还看好信德集团。下半年澳门新特首上任，有望推出更为有利的政策，令该公司受益。不过拉斯韦加斯金沙项目推迟发展，可能导致澳门新增就业人数在2008至2011年期间减少80%。
