虽然以太坊和其他第一层资产存在流动质押，但其他 Web3 基础设施资产基本上不可用。Tenderize 通过为 Web3 资产提供一个非托管的、流动的质押协议来解决这个问题，并在5月推出其主网，为 Livepeer（LPT）、The Graph（GRT）、Polygon（MATIC）和 Audius（AUDIO） 提供流动性质押。 到目前为止，Tenderize 已经有了近70万美元的 TVL，相当平均地分布在前四个资产上。 
Tenderize 如何运作的？让我们用 Livepeer，Tenderize上最大的抵押资产之一作为例子。Livepeer 需要一个节点来质押 LPT，以便在 Livepeer 网络上进行转码工作。除此之外，Livepeer 也允许将 LPT 委托给节点运营商，以换取部分LPT奖励。 
通过 Livepeer 进行质押通常情况下，你（或机构）会去 Livepeer 网络，选择一个节点进行抵押。作为委托人，你可以关注那些最可靠和最能盈利的节点。当你遇到以下情况，一般会想到重新委托给其他节点： 想委托给一个能分享更多奖励的节点（更多奖励=更多钱）； 想委托给正常运行时间更长的节点（更多正常运行时间 = 更多奖励 = 更多钱）； 你想从你不认同的节点上取消抵押。例如，如果一个节点正在攻击网络或对治理建议采取有争议的立场（更少的质押=更少的权力）。
但是，LPT 的解押期是7天，在这7天里，你也不会获得任何奖励，所以你会损失7天的利润。对于其他基础设施协议，如 The Graph，解押期甚至更长（28天）。此外，由于你的 LPT 被锁定在 Livepeer 协议中，你的抵押资产在其他协议或应用程序中无法作为抵押品使用。 这些例子表明委托人或潜在的节点想要解压，就不得不把资金在一段时间内搁置，甚至出现会亏损的情况。 通过 Tenderize 进行质押相比之下，使用 Tenderize，你（或任何委托人）在质押完 LPT 之后，会收到 tLPT (tender LPT) |
